How much upholstery cleaning costs in Krowodrza

There is one price list for the whole of Krakow, charged per piece, not per hour. Working time is a guide: it depends on the fabric and how dirty it is, and drying depends on ventilation in the room. With several pieces the times add up, but we come once.

The minimum value of a visit is 120 PLN, counted after discounts. A single armchair or a few chairs at 22 PLN are topped up to the minimum with a separate line in the summary, so it is best to add them to a sofa. Furniture add-ons: a pouffe or footstool 35 PLN, extra decorative cushions 15 PLN per piece. A rug cleaned during the same visit is 10% cheaper than ordered separately, where a square metre costs 15 PLN.

Townhouses on Królewska, Łobzowska and Lea: no lift and no moving furniture

In the older part of Krowodrza, between Aleje Trzech Wieszczów and Królewska, Lea and Łobzowska, many townhouses have no lift. We carry the extraction cleaner, products and a supply of water ourselves, to any floor and at no extra charge. All we need is a 230 V socket and about a metre of free space by the furniture: the sofa does not need to be moved or carried out, and the room does not need to be emptied.

In the paid parking zone, which covers part of Krowodrza, we park at our own expense and do not add it to the price. In the booking notes, give the floor and the gate code or intercom. An armchair or chair without a label we test first in a hidden spot: that decides whether we clean it with normal extraction, gently at low pressure, or honestly advise against wet cleaning. Box windows, rugs and our other services in the district are collected on the Krowodrza page.

What the cleaning includes and what we do not do

• Thorough vacuuming of the furniture, including the gaps and the underside of the cushions.
• Choosing the product for the fabric and a test in a hidden spot.
• Pre-spraying the stains, extraction of the whole surface and a second pass where the dirt is more stubborn.
• Removable cushions and backrests cleaned on both sides.
• Neutralising smells of pets, sweat, food and smoke.
• A short guide: how to air the room and when you can sit down.

Leather, faux leather and Alcantara furniture is not part of this service: we clean it as leather cleaning, with different products and without water extraction. We cannot wash out permanent discolouration, that is paint, bleach, burns and fabric faded by the sun, and we do not repair upholstery. In a sofa bed we clean the mattress under the seat only if it is upholstered, because bare foam takes several days to dry. All furniture and add-ons are on the upholstery cleaning page.

Rental flats near AGH, Czarnowiejska and Reymonta

Around AGH, Czarnowiejska and Reymonta many flats are rented to students. The sofa there is a place to study, eat and put up guests, and the mattress passes from tenant to tenant. When tenants change, it is worth cleaning the sofa and the mattresses in every room: a single mattress costs 83 PLN for one side and 165 PLN for both, and it is dry after 3–5 hours.

It is easiest to do it together with move-out cleaning, when the flat is empty and everything can dry undisturbed. Upholstery cleaning added to cleaning in the same booking is 10% cheaper, and the team comes once; we describe the scope and prices of the cleaning in the article on apartment cleaning in Krowodrza. When a tenant leaves a smell of smoke behind, ozone treatment helps after the fabrics are cleaned: ozone alone will not wash the smell out of a sofa or mattress.

Stains, pet hair and fabrics: what to expect

Before cleaning we check the label and the worst stains and tell you plainly what will come out completely and what will only fade. The result depends on the age of the stain, the fabric and whether the stain was rubbed before. On a corner sofa the armrests and the chaise longue you lie on get dirtiest: there we make two passes.

• Coffee, tea, grease, chocolate: high success rate; coffee that is several weeks old may leave a faint shadow on light fabric.
• Red wine and juice: high to medium, the sooner the better.
• Dog or cat hair we remove completely, and the smell goes after extraction and neutralisation. Pet urine soaks into the foam, and old stains sometimes need two treatments.
• Velour and plush we clean at low pressure and brush once dry, chenille without brushing while wet, wool with lukewarm water and a pH-neutral product.
• Paint, bleach and burns are damage to the fibre, not dirt: they cannot be washed out.

If there are small children, pets or someone with allergies at home, mention it in the booking notes: we will take it into account when choosing the products. Extraction rinses the product out of the fabric together with the dirt, and you can use the sofa as soon as it is dry. Drying times for each fabric are in the guide how long a sofa takes to dry after cleaning.
