Stroller cleaning Krakow is extraction cleaning of the textiles a child spends several hours a day in: the seat, the backrest, the canopy, the harness, the mattress pad and the liner. We dissolve the dirt with a product free of chlorine, artificial dyes and fragrance, rinse it out together with the water using an extraction machine, and finish by disinfecting the fabric and the hard parts a child touches: the bumper bar, the guard rail, the handle. Once dry, the fabric has no smell and no residue, because the product does not stay in the fibre.
We clean at your home or collect the stroller and bring it back dry. Whatever comes off without tools — the mattress pad, the liner, the canopy cover, the footmuff — we wash separately and dry flat; the seat and the harness, which on most models are threaded through the frame, we clean on the frame without taking anything apart. We never use a washing machine: stroller fabric has foam and stiffeners underneath that lose their shape in a spin cycle, and buckles and straps do not tolerate high temperatures.
Parents book us before a baby arrives, when the stroller is a hand-me-down from an older sibling or second-hand, after a winter spent in a cellar or garage, after a season of sand and sun, and before selling — a clean stroller in the listing photo sells faster and for more. We cover every district of Krakow as well as Wieliczka, Skawina, Zielonki, Niepołomice and Zabierzów.

Stroller cleaning prices in Krakow
A stroller counts as one set of textiles: the seat or carrycot with its canopy, the harness, the mattress pad and the liner. If you want both the carrycot and the seat unit of a 2-in-1 cleaned, set two pieces in the configurator. The car seat, the carrier and the frame with wheels are separate lines, so nobody pays for what they do not need. Travel within Krakow is included and you see the price before you book.
| Item | Price | Time | What it covers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stroller (one set of textiles) | 70 zł | 40–60 min | seat or carrycot, canopy, harness, mattress pad, liner, disinfection |
| Second set (carrycot + seat unit of a 2-in-1) | 70 zł | +30–40 min | same rate per set, set 2 in the configurator |
| Car seat cleaning | 60 zł | 30–40 min | add-on: cover, harness, liner, newborn insert |
| Baby carrier or wrap cleaning | 40 zł | 15–20 min | add-on: fabric, straps and buckles |
| Frame and wheel wash | 25 zł | 15–20 min | add-on: frame, basket, handle, wheels, brake |
| Pick-up and delivery | 40 zł | — | add-on: we collect the stroller and bring it back dry and assembled |
The minimum order is 120 zł. A stroller alone at 70 zł does not reach it: with one set, the trip and setting up the machine cost more than the wash itself. You reach the minimum with what usually needs a wash at the same time anyway: the car seat, a carrier, the frame and wheels or a second set. You can also add the car interior cleaning in the block below, 10% cheaper than on its own. The configurator adds it all up as you go and shows how much is missing.
What stroller cleaning includes, and what it does not

- Replacement of straps, buckles, zips and damaged fabric
- Car seat, carrier and frame with wheels: separate price list lines
- Removal of permanent sun fading and washed-out colour
- Machine washing of parts the manufacturer allows to be hand-washed only
- Strollers with mould in the seat foam: that cannot be washed out, only replaced
Stroller stains: what comes out and what stays
A stroller collects stains no sofa ever sees: milk, purée, sunscreen, sand ground into the seams. Below, honestly: what we remove as part of the wash, what needs extra work, and what we leave alone because the fabric would suffer.
| Type of stain | Success rate | How we do it |
|---|---|---|
| Milk, formula, spit-up | very high | An enzyme breaks down the protein, extraction rinses it out; the smell goes with the stain. |
| Juice, tea, fruit purée | very high | Standard cleaning; fresh ones go completely, after weeks a faint shadow remains. |
| Banana, porridge, chocolate, biscuits | very high | Softened and rinsed out; crumbs in the seams are brushed out before the wash. |
| Sand and mud ground into the seat | very high | Vacuumed dry first, then cleaned; otherwise the sand scratches the fibre. |
| Urine and nappy leaks | high | Enzyme product, long dwell time, disinfection; the smell is removed as part of the price. |
| Vomit | high | As above; with thick foam under the seat we rinse for longer. |
| Sunscreen and baby oil | high | Grease needs a degreaser and two passes; a yellow shadow from old sunscreen may remain. |
| Mustiness after a winter in the cellar | high | Extraction rinses the smell out of the fabric; we check the foam, because that is where the smell likes to come back. |
| Crayons, felt-tips, ballpoint pen | medium | Fresh marks come out, after weeks a trace remains; ink dyes bond with the fibre for good. |
| Sun fading and discolouration | we do not | That is missing dye, not dirt; cleaning changes nothing here. |
| Mould in the seat foam | we do not | It comes off the fabric but not out of the foam; such a part is replaced, not washed. |
If a stain is more than a few weeks old or has already been treated with a household stain remover, tell us when booking. A remover with optical brightener leaves a lighter patch that cannot be undone, and we would rather know before we start than explain afterwards.
Stroller and fabric types: how we count them
What counts is the set of textiles, not the brand. Here is a cheat sheet that lets you set up the configurator in a minute and know what we watch out for while cleaning.
| Stroller or fabric type | How to recognise it | How we count it and what we watch |
|---|---|---|
| Pushchair | One seat with a canopy, folds | One set; the most common job, 40–60 min of work |
| 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 travel system | Carrycot and seat unit on the same chassis | Carrycot and seat are two sets if we clean both; the car seat from a 3-in-1 is the car seat line |
| Double stroller | Two seats side by side or in tandem | Two sets; canopies and harnesses are part of the sets |
| Umbrella stroller | Lightweight, thin fabric with no foam | One set; dries fastest, 2–3 hours |
| Polyester fabric (Oxford, mélange) | Most common, slightly rough, does not absorb water | Standard cleaning, tolerates the enzyme product and disinfection |
| Cotton, linen, natural blends | Soft, matte, absorbs water | Gentler product, longer drying, a faint shadow after a stain is possible |
| Printed fabric, dark colours | Patterns, black, navy | Mandatory dye test on the underside of the seat |
| Quilted parts with foam | Seat, mattress pad, strap pads | Extraction with less water so the foam does not soak; dries the longest |
Not sure whether your stroller is one set or two? Count the parts that have a canopy: one seat is one set, carrycot plus seat is two. We call before the visit anyway, so being one set out is no problem — the price is confirmed before we arrive.
A company, a dry cleaner or doing it yourself
You can wash a stroller at home, drop it at a dry cleaner or book a cleaning with travel included. Three real options for a pushchair after winter, with a mattress pad and a car seat.
| Criterion | CleanAI | Dry cleaner | Yourself |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | 70 zł stroller, 60 zł car seat, orders from 120 zł | varies, usually per piece plus your own transport | the cost of a product and a brush |
| Your time | 0, just open the door | two trips with the stroller, a week of waiting | half a day plus two days of drying |
| Removing the fabric | only what comes off without tools; the rest on the frame | full strip-down, sometimes hard to refit | depends on patience and the manual |
| Harness and buckles | by hand, with a brush, no soaking | often skipped or washed with the fabric | hard to clean without removing |
| Products | no chlorine, dyes or fragrance, tested before the wash | industrial, chosen per batch | whatever is in the house |
| Foam under the fabric | extraction with little water | risk of soaking and losing shape | a spin cycle usually ruins it |
| Car seat | same visit, 60 zł | separate order | car seat straps must never go in a washing machine |
| Invoice | invoice, payment online or after the visit | receipt | — |
When a stroller is worth cleaning
Before first use, if the stroller comes from an older child, from friends or second-hand. It is not about invisible dirt but about what someone else left in the fabric: milk residue, dust, dust mites, sometimes pet hair. Cleaning with disinfection before a baby arrives is the most common booking in this category, and the car seat usually joins it because it travels in the same bundle.
After winter, especially if the stroller stood in a cellar, a storage room or a garage. Damp leaves a mustiness you only notice in the warmth, while sand and road salt from autumn walks sit in the seams and wear the fabric every time you fold it. Spring is when we clean the most strollers, so it pays to book a few days ahead.
Before selling and after the season. A clean stroller in the listing photo sells faster and for a better price than the same stroller with a juice shadow on the seat, and the cost of cleaning comes back in the asking price. After a season of sandpits and sun, cleaning rinses the sand out of the seams and the sunscreen out of the fabric before they set in the fibre.
How to keep a stroller clean for longer
- Wipe a fresh milk or juice stain at once with a damp cloth and water, no washing-up liquid — foam stays in the padding and attracts dirt
- Vacuum the seat and seams once a week with the crevice tool: sand and crumbs wear the fabric every time you fold the stroller
- Wash the mattress pad and liner as the label says, flat and without a spin cycle; they are the only stroller parts that truly belong in a machine
- Wipe the harness with a damp cloth and air-dry it; do not soak it, the webbing loses its stiffness and the buckle rusts inside
- Do not put the stroller away in a cellar or garage for winter without cleaning it: mustiness gets into the foam and is hard to remove in spring
- After rain, open the stroller indoors to dry before folding it — folded wet, it smells within two days
Stroller cleaning and allergies: the products we use
A stroller is fabric a child has next to the face, puts in the mouth and sleeps on for hours a day, so the question about products matters more here than with a sofa. We use preparations free of chlorine, artificial dyes and fragrance compounds, close to neutral pH. The product breaks down the protein from milk and the grease from sunscreen, and the extraction machine rinses it out with the dirt — once dry, nothing is left in the fibre that a nose or a hand could detect.
The final disinfection is not chlorine or alcohol but a product that reduces bacteria and mites in the fabric within minutes. Dust mites are what most often triggers symptoms in allergic children: they live in the foam of the seat and the mattress pad, and extraction cleaning rinses them out together with what they feed on. If your child has an allergy, mention it when booking — we then rinse for longer.
We do not promise a stroller that is 'sterile' after cleaning: that cannot be done in a home and no healthy child needs it. We promise fabric free of dirt, product residue and smell, that a child can sleep in the same evening once it is dry.
Cleaning the car seat together with the stroller
In most 3-in-1 travel systems the 0–13 kg car seat is part of the stroller and gets dirty faster than the seat unit: the baby lies in it after feeds, the liner and newborn insert soak up spit-up, and the straps absorb sweat and sunscreen. We clean it in the same visit for 60 zł, and together with the stroller it brings the order up to the minimum straight away. We take the car seat cover off only when the manufacturer allows it; otherwise we clean it on the shell, just like the stroller seat.
We do not wash car seat straps in water and would not advise anyone to: webbing that has been soaked and dried loses part of its strength, and this is the part that holds the child in a crash. We clean them with a damp brush and product, wipe them dry and check that the buckle clicks and releases as it did before. If the buckle is clogged with crumbs, we rinse it with warm water and nothing else — the only thing manufacturers allow.
In the same visit we also clean the carrier, the wrap, the stroller footmuff and the leg cover. Each of these is a separate price list line, so you pay only for what you bring out, not for a 'baby bundle' half of which you do not need.
